One day after the Oscars, most of us will be able to name the big winners, best picture, best actor, best actress. Alot of last years best winners have been mentioned in the past few weeks as well. But what about the big winners from two years ago. Without goggling, do you remember any of the big winners from 2005?

Technically the 2005 Oscars was last year, because it’s for the 2005 movie season, but they are awarded in 2006. If that’s what you mean the winners were: Crash, Philip Seymore Hoffman, Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, and I can’t remember the supporting actress. Crumb.
If you mean the 2004 Oscars, which was awarded in 2005, then the best picture I think when to one of the Lord of the Ring movies, and best actress was Nicole Kidman. I can’t recall the rest.

All this Oscar stuff and I’m SO not in the loop. I am not a movie goer. I like movies but I never get to stay up on what’s current. Honestly, if you had asked me prior to the last week or two, I probably couldn’t have told you that The Oscars were for movies. I never even remember which awards are for which thing: movies, TV, etc. I know… sad. I’m just a bit lost here

Nope, but then again, I don’t even remember what I said last week! I’m afraid I have the attention span of a gnat.
2004 was the year that I saw the least amount of movies because I had graduated from college and moved to a random city (Minneapolis) where I didn’t know anyone. By my count, I only saw 7 movies in the theater that year, and none of them were winners of the big awards.
I don’t remember. I do remember watching because I was at a party and we had martinis. I remember the apple martinis. mmmmm… Apple martinis.
