So, tell us, would you rather visit Australia or New Zealand? And why?
New Zealand. I want to see the big giant kauri tree Tane Mahuta. If you read my regular blog, you’ll know why.
Australia. I’ve been there. I left my heart in Western Australia.
Uh, you mean they’re different places? I don’t know enough about either of them to want to go to either one. I DO know that Australia is home to the deadliest snakes and spiders, so maybe New Zealand
Hands down, Australia. I lived in Australia for a little over a year. I would absolutely love to return. The only thing I didn’t like was that my family was all here (USA).
Besides I miss Tim Tams! I also left my heart in Australia.. New South Wales.
I would be delighted with an excursion to either, but I have a friend in NZ so I would choose there.
since i’ve now moved to australia i’ll say new zealand (i’ve never been there but it looks amazing— but cold in a lot of the most amazing-looking places).
i do want to see more of australia too though.
too hard to choose
I live in Australia, I have all my life. I would love to visit new zealand but I would live in Australia over NZ or anywhere else any day of the week
I have wanted to visit New Zealand since I read a National Geographic article on it many, many years ago. The pictures were unbelievably beautiful. However, it’s so far away from here I don’t think we’ll ever make it. It’s something like 24 plane hours or thereabouts. Australia isn’t so high up on my list of places to see.
Either one really as I’ve never been to either. But I guess I’d have to say Australia just simply because I know more about it.
So hard to choose! They both look beautiful and sound like tons of fun. Perhaps Australia first and then New Zealand. I’ve always wanted to go to the Australian Open so that’s why I chose Australia first.
For all who said Australia: Heathens!!!
To the Australia: You know I love you, but.. well you understand.
To all those Who said New Zealand: My door is open anytime.
Middle Earth baby!
P.s, we are well stocked on Tim Tams here too.
Moved to Australia 4 years ago, and I have to say I LOVE it. Loved it a bit less when I lived in a small, hot, miles away from anywhere country town for 18 months, but now I’m in the big smoke, it rocks. There is so much to see and do on your doorstep, and you could travel for years & still not see it all.
Saying that – we went to NZ for our wedding anniversary last year and I fell in love – must have been the hot air ballooning that did it. Still – you’re in a different mindset when you’re a holidaymaker that a resident, but when I get the train to work and see the Harbour Bridge and Opera House every day, I’ll never ever get sick of it.
Has to be New Zealand. Visited there a couple years ago. The ppl are laid back, the natural beauty is breathtaking. (and the Tane Mahuta is the biggest tree I’ve ever seen) Kiwis Rock!
