Yes, many times. My grandparents used to live there. They had a gorgeous townhouse less than half a mile from Lake Pontchartrain. After Hurricane Katrina, their building was flooded up to the third floor. We didn’t hear from them for over a week. They survived, and are living in West Virginia near my aunt now. No one in the family has been back to NOLA.
