I’ve briefly been to Canada while driving through from Niagra Falls to Detroit on my way home from the east coast. Yesterday my daughter was invited on a school trip to Quebec.
We know that Jon is living in Canada, but what about you — Where in Canada have you either lived or visited?
When I was around ten, we visited relatives living in Toronto and spent one day traveling to see Niagara Falls. The long story is at Those Good Old Days.
Our honeymoon was to Canada, Jasper Nat’l Park and Banff Nat’l Park, and places in between. We also visited Niagara Falls a couple of years ago (the Canadian side is MUCH better than the American side!)
I’ve been there twice, the first time when I was 10 and my parents took me with them to Niagara Falls. Our drive back to Indiana was through parts of Canada and home through Michigan.
The second time was with my husband, back in the early 1980s, on a trip to Detroit and we crossed over for a brief visit in Windsor, just to say we’d been to Canada.
I would love to visit Prince Edward Island and Vancouver.
Have been to all provinces except Sask. A couple of weeks ago in Ontario and Quebec on st. Lawrence seaway. Hope together back to the Canadian rockies next year.

Around rural Ontario, but also it’s cities – Toronto and its suburbs (I did some work in Etobicoke and Brampton, had a boyfriend in Kitchener for a while), Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls. We did a beautiful trip around Nova Scotia and PEI.
