I have no idea. There is a tree in the basement, where the “kids” hang out. I set some rules (for what they’re worth): no tree in my partof the house; no Magen David (Jewish Star) on top of any tree. I allowed them to put the fireplace in my front room because there was no room downstairs, but there will be NO STOCKINGS on it.
It’s been so long since we’ve put up a tree, I’ve forgotten what we used to put on the top.
No tree, so no topper. The one we have is an ornate Santa dressed in gold, but he has been in a box for several years. Before that we had an angel.
Haven’t brought out any decorations yet as we only got home two days ago and today was eye surgery day for hubby.
I hope all went well with the procedure.
Thanks, Mary. It was right eye cataract surgery. Left one was done in October. Surgeon said everything went well today. He still has some cloudiness but we understand that is typical and should disappear in a few days. He has a follow-up appointment tomorrow and then in a week.
