How open to suggestions are you? Will you take a suggestion that someone gives you, or are you more of the thanks but no thanks mindset?

That’s a pretty open question. Would I try a new menu item? Sure. Would I spend $1,000 for something that might not work? No way.
I usually ask for details.
It depends on who is giving it and what about. I have tried to be more open as I age, but I need to trust the suggestion giver.
I’m open to suggestions, but that doesn’t mean I’ll do what’s being suggested. Nice to have information and options.
I also am open to suggestions, though sometimes the suggestions I’m given are not applicable to the situation.
