Jolly good fellow!

Homeland is back and last night’s episode started with Carrie being sung the Jolly Good Fellow song, which made me think. Does this happen in real life? Have you ever been sung to that you are a Jolly Good Fellow? Have you ever sung that song to someone else? Do you have the urge to sing it now??

Wedding anniversaries

Today is our 18th wedding anniversary. We went out to lunch and then went to the jewelers. My husband lost his wedding band a few months ago, we think it’s in the yard somewhere, so he got a new ring. I decided to upgrade my ring with a new center stone and traded my radiant cut diamond in for an oval sapphire (I just couldn’t bring myself to support the diamond industry after watching Blood Diamond, which is why I selected a sapphire for an upgrade).

How many years of marriage are you celebrating? How did you spend your last wedding anniversary? And, have you ever had to replace a wedding ring? Or would you ever trade in your stone?
