Hopefully today my new office gets painted today so that I can move my stuff in and get settled. I’m looking forward to having an office versus a cubicle. Doors! I’ll have doors!! It’s a little thing, but sometimes I really just want to shut my door and be left alone.

The gang is going out tonight, and I can have some alone time.
I’ll be thinking of our friend who is undergoing surgery this morning.
It occurs to me, the last time anyone changed my office — when I still had an office — they took me out of the nice one (window and everything) and put me into a closet. I had more room, but I told them they couldn’t move me till they put a lock on the door. I stored sensitive material.
Seeing our daughter tonight. Of course I have to fly 3,000 miles first, but we’ll be there eventually.
Getting out of the car and seeing the arch. We have 5 more hours ahead of us, and I hate riding in the car.
