Would you ever, have you ever, had your palm read? Visited a tarot card reader? Do you believe in that sort of thing?

  1. I have had my palm read and I actually own a set of Tarot cards. No, I do not believe in it.
I guess because I own cards. I can lay out the exact same cards for different people, give them the same reading and they walk away with different interpretations. It is only your emotions feeding the belief.
When I had my palm read, the woman told me I had lost a child. I had. Then she told me I would have three more. No, I haven’t. I had polyps in my uterus and had surgery that rendered me unable to have children.

I’ve been to both. I find it entertaining, but don’t believe any of it.

Back in 1972 a bunch of my coworker went to a psychic on our lunch hour.
she said we would have car problems soon. We all had a good laugh.
On the way home a radiator hose started leaking like crazy.
    lucky guess!!!!

    Yeah, I’ve dabbled in both.
I was really into Tarot cards for a while.
I memorized the meaning of all the cards and different spreads.
    But i lost interest.
The cards are still out on the table.
And a Jewish friend of ours was appaled.
He took Sharpies and drew Stars of David on all of our door jambs.
So I haven’t messed with them in a while.
    They’re stil kind of intriguing.

I’ve thought of having a palm reading just for the fun of it, but I don’t put any stock in that sort of thing. I did have a friend who read tarot cards for me one time and nailed a problem I was having at the time, something she was totally unaware of.
