Yes, I have traveled back and forth from Atlanta to Los Angeles twice.
I had plenty of time and I just did not want to fly.

I have traveled from Georgia to California and back.
Ooo, Sunny, maybe we were on the train at the same time.
I was visiting friends and they convinced me traveling by train was relaxing. They were right.

A few places. The most recent was in central Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Italy). It was a vacation.

I traveled from Chicago to Albany ny in the 60′s. not very scenic. I went through Gary, Indiana, Buffalo, NY. I seem to remember Cleveland. I saw all the garden spots of what is now called the rust belt.

I’ve been on passenger trains from here to places like Seattle, San Francisco and Santa Barbara. We took a train from here to Denver, which put us on the train two nights, I think (maybe only one). And we took a passenger train from Wales to London (our son had his Walkman stolen on that train)
