I do try to avoid those now. All too often, I’m trying not to throw up. When the kids were small, I used to sing. Squabbling in the back seat? I’d start a song, it would get quiet, as someone said, “Shsh. She’s singing.”
If I’m not driving, I’m the navigator. If not busy doing that, I knit.
I listen to audio books, whether driving or riding. If I don’t have an audio book and Walt is driving, I read.
I like to read or just enjoy the scenery.
I take photos.
I knit, I read magazines, we listen to audio books, I complain we aren’t there yet
