Do you grind your own pepper? Do you have a preference as to what pepper you use?

    Depends on what I’m preparing. If you’re going to cook it, the flavor will develop even from old dried pepper.

    A favorite? No, though I don’t like anything too hot. I still distinguish the flavor of horseradish or wasabi from hot peppers, an ongoing discussion around here.

    I like to use a pepper grinder. Wish I could find one that would last for a while. I like different kinds of peppercorns, and keep a jar of mixed peppercorns for the grinder.

    I can’t tell the difference in pepper flavors, though strangely I don’t like pre-ground pepper, but like freshly ground pepper.

    Always – Fresh ground pepper has a lot more taste. It adds something fresh to the meal I am cooking
