Very definitely. One woman in particular, who is from a culture which has different views of “space” can’t speak to me unless she’s inches from my face. I can back across a room trying to have a conversation with her and she stays right there literally in my face. (Fortunately I don’t see her often!)
It depends on who it is and what mood I’m in. I’ve taught myself to be more tolerant of the people who get so close you can’t focus.
Definitely. It is not true that I consider my personal space to be an entire city block though. But it’s close.
