I have a history of bad management (or bad luck) with plants. My weeds grow well, but otherwise?
However, one of the lilies my sister gave me last summer has survived the flood (and the salt) and has grown to about two feet. I’m ready to look for buds.
No. Sigh. I never do. I am not a gardener.
I ran the school plant sale, and all the plants were delivered and planted last weekend. I need to get a hanging basket, but otherwise, I’m done.
No, still working on getting the weeds out first.
My wife and I cannot go into flower shops. They have posters of us on their bulletin board much like the post office has the wanted flyers of criminals on the wall.
We are considered serial killers of plants. We even killed a few fake plants in our day.
I believe this all stems from my early adventures with poison ivy and thorny rose bushes.

we had a super early warm spring here in the Midwest. a lot of my garden was in weeks ago. and I’m out there every day, holiday or no.
