Getting the worst clutter and hiding the rest. Someday I will have my own house again.
Clearing off the kitchen counter, cleaning the guest bathroom, sweeping up all the hair the dogs shed every day.
The obvious stuff – kitchen counter, bathroom, seeing that the floor is clear enough that people won’t trip, and clearing out enough chairs for folks to sit in. Anybody who comes knows about how we are. 8^)
Toilets and countertops if it is for a quick sweep for guests.
