It is POURING rain. Like, as they say in ‘Bama, “a big cow pissin’ on a flat rock.”

It’s not the weather that bothers me, its if I’m not in the right place when it happens – cold = in front of fire or heater with good book and mo hair blankie over knees, rain = in bed listening to the drops on the roof etc. If I’m not in the right place then any kind of weather can suck…

LOL..SCY reminded me of a quote my husband likes to throw at me when I start to complain about the cold:
“There is no bad weather, only the wrong clothes.”
I don’t agree.
Those 2 weeks in January when even your nose freezes, it’s so cold. You can’t go anywhere, the snow is ice, the house can’t keep up even though the heat bill is $500, and you question if the sun exists.
Anytime it snows so much that we have to blow the driveway and just as we are done the village snowplow comes along and dumps a pile 3′ tall at the foot of our driveway. Also the bitter cold that comes anywhere from January to March. If it weren’t for the family business and the immediate family, I’d insist on moving to a warmer climate.
Any time the temperatures can only be registered in 3 digits.

When it’s so hot and humid, just going outside makes you sweat bucket loads. (thank God it’s autumn!)
