My family doesn’t have any coveted recipes – they are all shared.
I would share all recipes. I rarely cook with a written recipe any more. Two of John’s mother’s recipes that I have shared often are for Scotch Shortbread cookies and a blue cheese dressing/dip that is to die for!
I’ll share any recipe, and I frequently do — even in my journal on occasion. Other people want them, my kids not so much.
I have no problem sharing any recipe. In fact, just the other day I shared my “Joe Special” with Mary Z.
My mother made so many tasty things. She shared them with my sister. The tradition lives on. My sister is a great cook.
