Riding elevators & ordering room service

My daughter loves watching The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. Which, of course, makes me wonder how I’d spend my time if I lived in a hotel. I’d probably ride the elevators all day long. How would you spend your time?

I guess I’ve lost the childish wonder, or maybe because I’m the one paying the bills. Hotels are usually just a place to sleep, while I want to go out and do things. The possible exception was the luxury hotel where we stayed when my son go married. I did order room service for my husband because there were no wheelchair ramps in the nearest eateries. But I still had to go out!

Like l’empress, I think a hotel is just a place to sleep. Although at the one where we stayed in Cambodia, there were lovely gardens to wander, a beautiful pool, and a spa for massages. I’d still want to go out and do stuff.

I would sleep a lot and not stress about having to cook and clean!

If money was no object, I’d order room service, but since it is I would do what I do at home–plug in my laptop. (In fact, that’s what I usually do)

I lived in one way back while an exchange student for a few months. It’s mostly like living in a condo, so I liked like I would normally. Except with a rooftop pool, of course, which is where I spent considerable amounts of time.
