I don’t have a preference. We have favorites that work with both formats. I just hate it with programs are moved so it’s hard to find them.

I like longer seasons. More is always better.

I prefer longer. It seems like we just get into the current story line and it ‘s already the end.

I was sure I had posted about this somewhere, but I can’t find it. I like a longer season — 20 or more episodes — though I get annoyed when enough of them are pre-empted that they might just as well be the 10-13 episode style. The longer ones are usually on network TV.

But the shorter series I watch on cable have the advantage of not being dependent on beginning in September, when all the network stuff begins. If “Rizzoli and Isles” or “Royal Pains” start a new season in March or July, for example, I’m usually ready for it.

I like the longer seasons, but I don’t like it when they have a mid-season finale.

I prefer the 39 episode season with one hour show with 4 one minute commercials.
What we have now is about 22 episodes with 25% of the program being commercials. We now have “reality” TV where they don’t have to pay overpriced actors $35,000 per episode.

Or you could go to a baseball game and pay overpriced drugged up star player who can’t play because he has a sliver on his ass because he is too drug up to play today.

Or you can go to movie and pay $8 for some popcorn, $10 for a cup of ice with some kind of cola syrup in it.

    Your choice.
