Well, my frame of reference is different than most. I don’t attend many/any music concerts. The last one was by Neil Diamond about 15 years ago. That said, however, I was the mother of 3 members of a rock band and there was a fabulous concert they did at a university campus in Davis that packed in audience from everyone on campus and literally had people hanging from trees to watch. That was, hands down, the very best concert ever for me!

Beach Boys about 6 years ago. I had pneumonia at the time. I lived and went on to see some other good ones like Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons, Felix Cavaliere and the Young Rascals, Herman’s hermits, Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Oh god far too many to choose from for so many reasons: being front row for Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf on my 21st birthday… one that always sticks in my mind though was a Jason Manns/Life Of Riley gig – pure acoustic, just the guys and their guitars, no microphones, them just sitting with the fans and playing any/everything… it was amazing – felt like a group of friends more than anything else
