We have RO at home because we have a well. Otherwise I typically trust it.

  2. Lindy says:

We have city water that seems to be fine…until they flush the fire hydrants (discolored and rusty), then we drink bottled water until it’s cleared.

  3. l'empress says:

We have pretty good city water here, and I drank it plain for years. Now I use the Brita, which means I never smell chlorine when I drink.

  4. maryz says:

We have Brita pitchers, mainly to filter the chlorine smell. But I drink the tap water, too. Not concerned about contamination.

  5. Bev says:

We have had bottled water delivery for about 30 years, not because I care about water purity, but because the tap water here tastes terrible–it’s a well known fact among everyone in Davis! Filters remove all sorts of things, but not the bad taste of the water.
