our taxes are due april 30, we haven’t even received the slips required to do them as yet, they are due by the end of this month. we try and break even.
I usually prefer to owe, but due to this year’s June flooding disaster, we’ll only owe $89. I am getting a state refund. I can’t file yet, though, because the Charles Schwabs of the world have until 2/17 to get us our statements this year.

I’ve gathered everything together, but haven’t given it to “my girl” yet. We have it to where we don’t pay so much during the year… but we pay so much interest on our home that we’ve gotten quite a bit back in the past.

I did mine a few weeks ago, and as a full time student (last time!) I’ll be getting everything back. It will be paying for my trip to Italy next month!
