It’s the weekend! I’m looking forward to the behind-the-scenes tour at the Milwaukee County Zoo and my daughter has a project that entered in the Green Art Project show. Otherwise my weekend will be very low-key compared to the hectic pace of Ragnar Relay from last weekend.
What are you looking forward to this weekend?
My daughter is in town from Boston and will be here for dinner. Tomorrow I work at the book store, on Sunday we go to a “pig roast” for my son’s birthday and Monday we go to an annual picnic held in memory of our son Paul.
My daughter’s Gentleman likes to entertain, and he usually does at least two cookouts a year. Tomorrow is one of them. I sat inside for the last one, as I was under the weather. I’m not crazy about events where the main object is to eat, but I would like to spend some time with the guests.
We’ll be driving from northern CA to the LA area. May break it into two days. We love “behind the scenes tours”. Hope it’s fun at the zoo.
Driving 6 hours north to spend it with my parents on their lake and celebrate my mom’s birthday before heading to our own place for the week.
