Well, partly because of YOU, I’m in the damn Twilight series. Finished Book 1 on the plane home and now waiting to get to a wi fi hot spot so I can download the next 3. Also, on the trip I read “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society” (which I highly recommend) and a few others.

I have decided to read a bunch of the books I bought because I liked the cover or I liked the characters or the setting but I never got around to reading.
I am also rereading a bunch of books that I didn’t like the first time to try and figure out why I didn’t like them.
Right now I am reading “Hurricane Homicide” by Nora Charles.
It is just one of many I am going back over.
I have decided that I am boycotting $8.00 PAPERBACKS when I have dozens here at home.
If I buy a new paperback for 8 bucks, it’s going to be something I really want!

Listening to The Terrorist by John Updike, and reading Bump in the Road by Maureen Lipinski (which should be done tonight because it’s due back to the library tomorrow). I have Motion of the Ocean by Janna Cawrse Esarey on deck.

OOO! I just listened to the entire Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and it was GOOD! “But, CityGirl, isn’t that for adolescents?” Yes, it is. But so is Twilight and so is Harry Potter and you KNOW you love those books. Seriously. Good series.
Now I am listening to Horse Soldiers and re-reading HP and the Half-Blood Prince before the movie comes out next week. Also, just finished the Last Days of Dogtown by Anita Diamant (The Red Tent) – Lovely story.

i just started a book today that my youngest daughter got for grad but didn’t like, it’s the vintage affair, (i think that’s what it’s called) and can’t remember who it’s by.
