The convenience factor

I like convenience, but there are times that I just don’t want to spend the extra money for it. Do you ever buy your fruit or veggies already chopped/cut because you just don’t feel like doing it yourself?

No, it rots quicker and it’s harder to wash. (always wash those bagged “ready to use” products regardless of the package saying “ready to eat, no need to wash.”)

  2. Jennifer says:

No, the cost difference is too much, and we get the majority of our veggies from our CSA anyway.

  3. I’ll very occasionally grab a bag of ready cut salad ingredients. They’re generally too expensive.

Bag lettuce and cut baby carrots, yes.
    Anything else, no.

Tempted, yes, but when I look at the price, I rarely give in. Once in awhile I’ll buy bagged lettuce, but I know that I’m spending too much for it.
