Yes…absolutely! Especially since our NY team the Jets got him.
No. You can only keep a prima donna for so long. It was time.
I don’t think it was a mistake letting him go. And I also think he should have stayed in retirement.
I think the whole issue was handled poorly on both sides, after talking to a few folks who had some of the “insider” scoop.
That being said, I like and respect Favre and I wish him well in his future (and I’m pleased he is having a good season).
I’m not happy with the current status of things in Green Bay – the current staff/team is lacking in a lot of areas.
Am I still a Packer-backer, though? Of course. I’m just not feeling as much love as I normally do, for the team. But some of that could be life stress – it is hard to watch these guys getting HUGE salaries to entertain us, when so many people around me are struggling to make ends meet.
