Turning the Tables: Coffee

Here’s what Sunny says:

I like my coffee very hot with steamed or scalded milk and a level tablespoon of Tourbinado sugar. I use a very old French press and I grind the whole beans with my trusty little coffee grinder. How do you like your coffee?

I also grind my own beans, in a grinder that I’ve had for as long as I can remember. I prefer hazelnut cream coffee from a local store, but will take Millstone if I have to. I use organic half and half and one little bag of Splenda. I can’t live my day without a cup of coffee in the morning.

What about you, how do you like your coffee?

I drink Peets French Roast, which I grind myself (and prepare in an electric drip pot). It has to be very hot, so I drink it out of a stainless steel cup, which keeps it hot most of the morning. I drink it black.

I’m not very fancy. I don’t have my own grinder yet, I have to grind it at the store. I also just use an old 4 cup drip coffee maker. My oldest child and I are the only ones who drink coffee so there hasn’t been much call to get too fancy or too big. :-)
