Voting Early

I’ve heard so much this year about people who are voting early, were you one of them? Do you think there is an advantage to early voting?

no I see no advantage, they still had to wait in long lines…. I can see if you are going to be out of town, something like that, where it would be helpful but just to vote early for the heck of it….
    NO I see no advantage.

We voted early (my whole family & numerous friends). I think for some of us voting early was a way of getting our voice in and seeing how the system is working this election. Based on how the past 2 elections have gone, I seriously question the voting methods. For our area I doubt there is a time advantage to early voting…haven’t run into a crowd previously but you never know with this election. For me personally there wasn’t a schedule advantage (sah, hs’ing mom) but for some workers I can see how there would be. Coming from FL & voting there on previous elections and waiting in long lines…a 1 hour line for early voting is better than a 3-4+ hour line on Election Day and then not being able to vote because of voting machine issues, etc. I think this election…people aren’t taking chances…if something goofs up during early voting there is still time to fix it, try again, etc.

I don’t think there is any real advantage to voting early. There are still lines to wait in and still the need to take time out of a busy day to vote. No, I am not saying that I am too busy to vote.
