It’s one of those places I never got to visit — Washington, DC. (I ought to say West Haven, where I’ve lived for forty-plus years, but it ain’t that great.)
I hate to be a copycat, but I also love Washington DC. (I grew up in Wisconsin Rapids, but that is at the bottom of the list.)
Washington, DC, is the only one I can think of right now – except for Wilmington, NC – a nice beach town where John was almost transferred many years ago.
I hate to be a sheep, but I LOVE Washington, D.C., one of the few cities in the world that I feel completely comfortable in (I worked there for 6 weeks once).
