Since most of the place is carpetted, it takes about 5 minutes to do with a swifter mop. vacuuming is really annoying. I have a electrolux but that is like driving a truck. I go for the sporty dirt devil where I can see all the cat hair in the canister. It is light, corners well, economical, and low maintenance.

Floors??
We don’t wash no stinkin’ floors!
I use a mop, and at least once a week or when it’s too gross to walk on without sticking… whichever comes first.

I wash the floors after puppies move on. I use a Bissell steam cleaner.

i hosted thanksgiving dinner here on monday and did the kitchen floor on tuesday morning cuz it was a complete right off! lots of elbow grease required, rarely use a mop.
