In the years when we had a very pathetic light display (half of the roof outlined) the lights stayed up all year. We just didn’t turn them on until December.

Christmas because I’m crazy about Christmas and my neighbors know it. I could soo get away with that much easier than I could get away with the creepy Halloween stuff I put up each year.

Christmas. I can pass the white lights off as being party lights a lot easier than rotting squirrel-eaten pumpkins and corn stalks can be anything other than laziness.
