We’ve just finished our “weekend”. We drove to Nashville yesterday to see a show at the Frist Museum and to have lunch with our youngest and some friends. We spent last night at the home of some other long-time friends. Then today, we went to Clarksville to see my painting teacher’s solo show. We met our second daughter and spouse there. Got home a couple of hours ago. A great time was had by all. Now we vegetate on Saturday and Sunday.
Today I had lunch with my mother; tomorrow my husband is taking me to brunch for my birthday; tomorrow night we are going to a concert locally, and Sunday we are going to the after-party following the second performance of the concert. I guess it’s kind of a full weekend.
Still in and reading, trying out the foot every now and then. Fortunately, I didn’t make plans.
I’ve been absent a few days…what happened to your foot?
It’s in my last post, I think. I kicked the (stone) step coming upstairs and bruised my big toe. Who would have thought one toe could turn so many colors? It still hurts to stand up and sit down.

I’m working today (Saturday). Hubby went north to visit his dad who “took a turn for the worse” on Thursday (still at home, however). I’m waiting for a phone call to get hubby’s evaluation of the situation. So, no plans. Just waiting.
I watched the MB marathon. We walked on the beach and did some reading on the beach. We ate at the New York Deli (awesome).
We have slept with the windows open for the last week. Yesterday was an wonderful day.
My grammar is not too good this morning. forgive me, Mary O’brian. (my English teacher)
My plans were to get the house cleaned and get my cardio in.
So far I got part of the house cleaned and I am sitting here on the computer while the treadmill sighs.
House cleaning should count for something, and everybody needs a break between chores…
