I can’t remember. I do clean the windshield every time I get gasoline.

What are your plans for President’s Day weekend?

  2. l'empress says:

No special plans — I still think Washington and Lincoln deserve theirn own days.

How often do you believe the latest “big news” you’re hearing on radio, television, or on line?

  3. Jennifer says:

It depends on what it’s concerning, but usually I find some truth in what they’re saying.

Tim Tebow? Great quarterback inspired by God or lucky hack?

  4. John Zelle says:

I have always had a problem with people who make a great show of praying in public. Whether it is Tom Tebow, the pictures of muslims on their holy day kneeling by the hundred, or any other ostentatious show of piety.

    Who will win Sunday night?

  5. Bev says:

I don’t care much, but I guess I’m hoping for the Patriots. (Surprisingly, I DO know who is playing!)

Will you ever participate in a Komen event again?

    • l'empress says:

You do realize that the news is changing, even as we talk about it? I will support an individual who participates. National? I don’t know; what would I do without all those return address labels.

      • Bev says:

Not really. They say they are going to fulfill their donation to PP for this year and that the group is eligible to apply for funding again. This is not yet a ringing endorsement.

  6. Indigo says:

I don’t think I’ve ever participated in a Komen event … it’s very interesting to say the least. My husband would probably kill me if I did though, because he’s really against running events that are “just for women”.

What is your beer of choice?

  7. John Zelle says:

My choice is varied. My daughter’s choices in order were: You’re buying; On sale; and cold. (Those were the days)

What is your wine of choice?

  8. Jennifer says:

A nice cabernet, maybe a Duckhorn or Stags Leap.

My husband is on his way home and going to pick up Chinese for dinner. What would your order be?

  9. l'empress says:

Hot and sour soup, maybe with seafood. (And I won’t have to give the scallops to Cat!)

  10. Indigo says:

Yes, but very limited to avoid begging. One of our dogs loves all fruits and vegetables, so she will actually come running the second she smells it.

How many times have you moved homes?

  11. Bev says:

Since birth, 8 times (including dorms, etc. during college). Since Walt and I bought our first home in 1969, we have only moved once. We have lived in this house since 1973.

Do you ever clean the inside of your computer?

  12. Indigo says:

As in blow it out with the canned air? A few times a year. If you mean going through files and dumping what I don’t need, then I do that every now and then.

    Where is your next vacation?

  13. maryz says:

Lucky us – Road Scholar Adventure Afloat – Venice to Nice.

What you planned to have for dinner didn’t work. What do you do now?
