This is the Weekend Q&A game and this is how you play:
The person before you has asked asked you a question. You’ll answer their question in the comments as well as ask the next person a question. The next person answers their question, and asks another, etc….. You are encouraged to participate often!
I’ll start:
What noise annoys you the most?

“Annoys.” That implies something minor but constant, like a neighbor’s loud music. But I haven’t encountered much noise over the past few months, other than the machinery in the house (refrigerator, freezer, etc.), which are more soothing than annoying.
Did you watch any of the new television series starting recently? (Like “Touch.”) Did you like any of them?
Is Touch any good? I haven’t watched it yet, but it’s finally on Hulu Plus.
I enjoyed the pilot. It’s math that I don’t quite get, channeled by an autistic child. If you can get past any belief in pure coincidence — which I can — it’s an interesting premise.
I started watching Smash. It’s got potential, but is really just okay. They need to drop this stupid adoption plot line. And now that there’s an affair going on, I’m starting to hate the Debra Messing character. And I think I’m supposed to like her. In other words, it’s going the wrong, wrong direction for me.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A nun. I almost made it, but chickened out at the last minute.
Would you ever shave your head for charity?
I would – and admire your friend for doing it.
What do you want for your birthday? (I got a t-shirt that said “She who must be obeyed!” 8^)
My birthday isn’t until June, but I think I’d like a new bottle of perfume.
Do you have any plans this weekend?
Our daughter flies in from Boston tonight; the family is getting together at my mother’s and I’m cooking a corned beef dinner.
Are you doing anything to commemorate St. Patrick’s day (l’empress does not have to reply! I know she’s not)
Nope. I’m not doing anything out of the ordinary. I think having a boyfriend who worshipped this day when I was in college ruined this day for me.
Do you let your battery run out completely before charging it in your electronics? (I don’t)
Nope. I just don’t get this holiday at all.
I want a new bike. What new thing do you want?
Not new — I just want my old bike (three-wheeled) that is hidden in the mess of the garage.
The bike would be even better than a car, which I don’t expect to afford for a while.
The new thing I would like most of all is an ipad or tablet. I still can’t decide which one is best which is why I still don’t have one. I want to be able to blog on it, read e-books, email, play with photos and research family history (and tbh…to play angry birds!)
Do you have an e-reader, tablet or ipad? What features work best for you?
