This is the Weekend Q&A game and this is how you play:
The person before you has asked asked you a question. You’ll answer their question in the comments as well as ask the next person a question. The next person answers their question, and asks another, etc….. You are encouraged to participate often!
I’ll start:
Do you like handmade crafts?

Sometimes. I usually have no trouble resisting those things that are just too kute and klever. On the other hand, I treasure those that were made by a friend, especially for me.
So tell me, what kind of crafts do you produce?
Why does this program put in a line ending whenever I use an HTML tag?
I don’t really do crafts, unless it’s something Photoshopped.
I’m reviewing 3 Christmas-themed plays this weekend. What’s your favorite Christmas play, movie, or TV show?
I don’t really care for Christmas-themed stuff. I can’t imagine having to sit through one, much less three.
Pumpkin pie or mincemeat pie?
Definitely mincemeat pie. Growing up, I would ask my mom to make it for my birthday instead of cake.
What is your favorite *small* kitchen appliance?
My milk frother
Where are you going for Thanksgiving?
We’re driving to my mother’s. At 93, she has forgotten to cook, so I’m making dinner. Just Walt, me, one of our sons and his wife. Small group this year.
Have you ever brined a turkey?
I have never even made a turkey, but my husband has brined not one but TWO turkeys (I only point out that there were two because he did them the same year, he’s an over-baker).
We went to see Argo tonight, loved it! What was the last movie you saw?
Skyfall last weekend. Also fabulous.
I just watched CBS This Morning. What Sunday news show do you watch?
We watch CBS Sunday Morning – not really a “news” show – more a magazine. We don’t watch any of the “news” shows.
Do you read a daily newspaper?
I read our local newspaper every day — and mourn the loss of responsible journalism. I’ve also gotten into the habit of watching Diane Sawyer every evening; I don’t know if she’s better than the others, but Jeopardy! is on right after.
Have you ever had your feet fluoroscoped — shoes on — to determine whether you were wearing the right size and style?
