This is the Weekend Q&A game and this is how you play:
The person before you has asked asked you a question. You’ll answer their question in the comments as well as ask the next person a question. The next person answers their question, and asks another, etc….. You are encouraged to participate often!
I’ll start:
Who is you favorite tv show villian?

I don’t go looking for villains on TV. There are too many in real life. I really hate it when a character I’ve liked over several episodes turns out to be the bad guy. (Most recently, I think, on CSI — last year.)
Speaking of villains — or maybe not: how did you feel about Tuesday’s episode of NCIS?
It was an amazing episode! can’t wait for part 2.
I don’t watch NCIS, so I have no feelings whatsoever.
We are trying to figure out which country to visit over Easter break. Where would you recommend we go with an 8 year old?
Another thought – Costa Rica has some good trips, with lots of neat animals, birds, butterflies, reptiles, etc., to see. The climate is pretty much the same all year long.
That’s a great idea. A friend of mine is a teacher who takes her class to Costa Rica every year.
Wow. That’s a hard one. A country for an 8 year old, huh? I’d probably go with England, since there are so many different things to see and do, everything from the boardwalk and Pavillion in Brighton to all the museums and pageantry in London to Stonehenge (which I would not recommend as a major visit for an 8 yr old), to hiking in the Cotswolds, etc.
What did you have for breakfast this morning?
Breakfast? An egg, rye toast and preserves, tomato juice, pills.
(Always love NCIS – thought this one was unusually dark.)
(I know Canada is nearby, but the Canadian Rockies or the Maritime Provinces could be good.)
Do you have an airline preference? (we like Southwest)
We LOVE the maritime provinces, but we’re going in early April when it’s kind of chilly. I’d rather take him there the end of August to see the whales and ride the Bay of Fundy. Great thought though, and definitely on the “list”.
We fly Southwest more than any other airline to.
The airline of whatever hub I’m flying into. They always get runway preference and have more flights in case you need to switch.
Have you taken any precautions to avoid this season’s widespread flu and norovirus outbreaks?
Apparently washing my hands like Howard Hughes and eating a consistent diet of whole foods wasn’t good enough. I have had the flu for going on a week (doing better today). No, I do not take the flu shot as there are no guarantees.
What’s the leading news story today/tonight in your area?
The Packers vs 49ers
Speaking of that, I’m watching a Marquette game, a niece’s basketball tournament and then the Packers game today. What are you watching?
I’ll watch Marquette later today, for women’s basketball. But before that, I’ll watch Notre Dame, for men’s basketball. Needless to say, I am rooting for Connecticut.
