It’s a weekday, so a buttered, heavily seeded bagel, coffee, and a handful of daily meds.

Is anything special going to happen today?

  2. maryz says:

Freezing rain is pretty special. YUCK! We got in our session at the Y before it started, so we can feel virtuous staying home all day in soft clothes.

    What’s your go-to “comfort food”?

  3. Jennifer says:

    Chicken pot pie

While my husband and I are pretty similar in parenting styles, I’m the more lenient one overall. Who was the lenient one in your house?

when the kids were home, definitely my husband. Now that we only have dogs, me.

I hate going to shows that require audience participation. Do you? Or do you get fully into it?

  5. Tootch says:

I like audience participation if it’s a show I like the subject of. what burning question is uppermost in your mind at this, very, moment?

  6. Jennifer says:

I’m not feeling great, so my mind is pretty blank right now. I think as in-depth as it gets is – Why did my son just choose to go to the neighbors in Crocs and shorts when it’s 20 degrees out?

Speaking of my son, he has a pinewood derby race tonight. His car is named the Green Machine because it’s green and has dragons on it. I said it should be Dragon Fire, which he promptly rejected. What would you name it?

  7. Indigo says:

I’d have to go with something that didn’t have anything to do with green at all, perhaps Flash. Congrats on 6th place!

I’m reading Jen Lancaster’s book Here I Go Again, which is about high school and going back in time to change the character’s karma. What are you reading?

  8. Lindy says:

“Just One of the Guys” by Kristan Higgins. It was a freebie a couple of weeks ago on B&Ns Nook Facebook page.

Today we have a strong possibility for freezing rain, then 50 degrees on Monday and 60 degrees on Tuesday. What’s your weather look like today and the next couple?

  9. Shannon W. says:

Here in Wisconsin we are under a Winter Weather Advisory. So, I may not go to work tomorrow.

Yesterday, I finished watching Stargate Universe. It only ran for two seasons and left watchers with no closure. Do you have a favorite show that ended with a cliffhanger and then was cancelled?
