  1. Maryz says:

Yea, probably 6-8 hours a day, which may include a nap. But then we’re retired.

Do you like to take naps?

  2. Indigo says:

I LOVE naps!!!! So much so that I refused to take a single nap during maternity leave for fear that I would get used to them and never be able to break myself of the habit.

When did you know that your spouse was “the one”?

  3. Lindy says:

The very first time I saw him; just had a different feeling about him.

Have you filed your tax returns yet?

  4. Bev says:

Walt does the taxes for us. This year we have an odd situation that is requiring mega calculations, which has so far taken him 2 days to do and has one more day to finish.

(On the sleep question, I definitely don’t get enough and I LOVE my naps!)

Have you ever watched an animal give birth? (I’m watching a horse who is a week overdue at the moment on my friend’s web cam)

  5. Jennifer's says:

I learned about birth when I was 7 and staying at my uncle’s dairy farm for a few weeks. They woke me up in the middle of the night to watch a horse foal. I remember being really disgusted/intrigued by the afterbirth process. I have seen it multiple times since, but that first one was amazing.

What was the last thing you bought online?

  6. Indigo says:

Kinda sorta bought online was a tshirt for my daughter. One of the ladies in the 40 Under 40 had this adorable tshirt with a mustached cat, I emailed her to see where she bought it, turns out she made it! So I bought one from her for my daughter through email.

    Are you an organ donor?

  7. Lindy says:

Yes, and it’s so stated on my driver’s license. I still have all my original parts at present! ;-)

How many cups of coffee does it take for you to start your day (or other caffeinated beverage)?

  8. l'empress says:

One cup (coffee!) to get started, but I just poured a second and will probably drink a third before the day is out. I made a full pot.

We’ve been debating here: Is Daylight Saving Time really necessary in this day and age?

  9. Indigo says:

No. I don’t think it’s necessary at all anymore.

    What book are you reading?

  10. Lindy says:

I’m reading Driftless, which was B&N’s offer on (Nook) Free Fridays last week.

Do you have a favorite National Park?

  11. Bev says:

Yosemite. Haven’t been there in many years, but I love that place.

    Do you collect anything?

  12. Jennifer says:

    Only if dust bunnies counts.

What do you do to go back to sleep if you wake up at night?

  13. Indigo says:

I watch tv on my iPad.

    Bar soap or shower gel?

  14. Maryz says:

Either, as long as it’s unscented.

Do you like Vietnamese food? Or what’s your favorite ethnic food?

  15. Jennifer's says:

We have a local pho restaurant I think is okay. Thai is my preferred ethnic food though. Followed by Indian as a very close second.

My son wants an ice cream cake for his birthday party today. What cake would you want?

  16. l'empress says:

I always want an ice cream cake. I have a gift certificate for Coldstone Creamery in my pocket.

Barring that, I would choose a fruit tart that was very popular with a local caterer some twenty-odd years ago. Our company knew I liked it and bought one for my birthday.

Oh, dear, you need a question. Why don’t you use that one, because I can’t think of one right now? And I’d like to see more choices.

  17. Indigo says:

I love ice cream cake! But right now I’d really like a carrot cake from Simma’s Bakery.

    Were you ever a cheerleader?

  18. Jennifer's says:

No. Cheerleaders were kind of the bottom of the barrel in my high school. A true testament of Title 9.

Chris Matthews is doing a thing on the Beatles. My child is mocking their cheesiness. Were/are you a fan?
