  1. Bev says:

    Of course not.

What invention of the 20th century has had the biggest impact on your life?

  2. Jon says:

    The computer.
My first major job was running a ncr 310 computer. Most of my jobs in my life had a computer involvement.
My wife is a systems developer for main frame computers. She has done that for over 30 years.
    Here I am…on the computer…answering this question.

  3. Jon says:

I met my wife on line….computer, computer, computer.

  4. Jon says:

    Jon…says
    Same question, next person.

  5. Jennifer says:

    The birth control pill.

Do you ever let someone’s bumper stickers influence how courteously you treat them on the road?

  6. Definitely not. I am one of those drivers with road rage if you drive 5 miles under the speed limit in the passing lane. I don’t care if your bumper sticker says WWJD? Get out of the passing lane or I’ll make you find out sooner than you wanted to. :)
So, what have you done nice lately?

  7. Nicole says:

The start of a new school year is…well..here, and my school is doing some crazy things to fit into the mandaded Class Size Reduction bill that Florida passed. So, I have been helping my co-workers as much as I can this year to alleviate some of their stress. I wrote an IEP (paperwork on a mentally disabled student – LONG – 16 pages) for another teacher after we discovered he should be hers and not mine. I had already planned to squeeze it into my schedule so I went ahead and did it for her. Held the meeting for it too.

WHat is one thing you wish you had time to do, but just can’t squeeze it in?

  8. sunny says:

I have plenty of time to do everything.
I just don’t have enough money.

I had an aunt named Tennessee. I thought that was one of the coolest names ever.
And I have always liked the mystery writer, Nevada Barr.

If you had to be named after a state, which one would you choose?

  9. Junebug says:

    Colorado or Montana

What was your favorite book this summer?

  10. Jennifer says:

Matterhorn. The most well-written book I’ve read since City of Thieves.

What’s your favorite TV show that you’re watching these days?

  11. va bene says:

    Top Chef!

I’m going on a ferry to some islands in the Casco Bay on Sunday. When is the last time you went on a ferry?

  12. sunny says:

It’s been several years and taking a ferry can frequently be a pretty scary trip. (This coming from a woman whi grew up on the water, surfing and sailing.)

We take our dog to Day Care twice a week and she has a Spa Day once a month. Now, the kennel is offering Doggie Birthday Parties. We kinda draw the line there.

Would you have a birthday party for your dog?

  13. Bev says:

We did, when we had kids at home, but not now that they are grown and gone. And we have too many dogs anyway.

What would be the best way to get rid of a dead body?

  14. sunny says:

Hide it in the trunk of a car?
Bury it in the crawl space of your house?
Put it in the window seat of your parlor?

    LOL, LOL, LOL….
Bev, I am a mystery buff and that is one of the BEST questions I’ve ever seen on this site.

  15. sunny says:

    I forgot a question:

Do you ever throw things when you get really, really upset or angry?

  16. Jennifer says:

No, I’m not that kind of an upset person. I’m more of a scream and cry and collapse into bed kind of girl.

If you had to come up with $500,000 to pay off a ransom by the end of the week, what would you do to get it?

  17. Indigo says:

I’d write them a check, I’d have to postdate it though.

What is the last skill you tried to learn, but just couldn’t?

  18. Bev says:

Origami! I went to a class to write a story about it and they had me make a crane. It was embarrassing!

What’s the best toy you ever owned?

  19. sunny says:

I don’t know if it qualifies asa toy but the best thing I ever owned as a kid was a gold colored Schwinn 10 speed Varsity bike.

If you had to sit on an interstate off ramp and panhamdle for money, what would your cardboard sign say?
(Hubby always says mine should say: SEND SUNNY TO SUMMER CAMP)
