I’ll start:
Do you prefer to pack your own groceries?
I shop at a military commissary and there is a contingent of baggers (everything from teenagers, retired military guys to 70 year old women) who work for tips only.
They bag your groceries and carry them out to your car whether you want them to or not.
You are then expected to give them a tip for their services. ($1 minimum, preferably $2 or $3)
It is a throwback to the 50′s and 60′s that will probably never change.
Bagging my own groceries is NOT an option.

I just had to get that off my chest.
I don’t care who bags my groceries but our store has “u-scan” and I do prefer to check out my own groceries.
A friend of mine pointed out today that she graduated college a decade ago and is not where she expected to be. What’s one unexpected thing you accomplished in the last 10 years?
I don’t know if it’s an accomplishment or not, but I’ve sure traveled more than I ever expected to in the last 10 years, including a solo trip to visit a girlfriend in Australia.
(also losing…and then finding again…85 lbs)

What law would you most like to change?
FMLA- There are too many loopholes in it, like the ability to call in for one day, and it really needs to be fixed.
How close are/were you with your parents?
I was very close to my mother.
When was the last time you cleaned out your attic?
We don’t have an attic…or a basement.
What is a lesson you learned the hard way?
When you’re lost, you should really, REALLY, stop and ask directions.
What is your next home improvement project?
Last weekend I painted my living room. Next up: painting the kitchen, the hallway, and the kids rooms… all before September…

What is your favorite way to spend a free Saturday afternoon?
Playing with my family. Today, that meant going to the waterpark to enjoy the weather. Other times it means geocaching, going to a festival, or hanging out at the park.
Do you exercise regularly? What kind?
Yes, almost daily. Mostly yoga, running, walking the dogs.
Do you prefer appetizers or desserts?
I prefer to make desserts but I prefer to eat appetizers.
It’s supposed to thunderstorm for the next week here.
What’s your favorite rainy day activity?
Dancing in the rain if it isn’t a thunderstorm, otherwise, napping.
What are thinking right this moment?
Thinking about what to have for dinner. And thinking that Chinese beef curry is an excellent idea.
