Wintery Weather

On a beautiful winter day, do you curl up on the nearest sofa with a book or do you dare to venture out in the snow?

it depends, if I have things that I have to do I go out, but if I don’t then I curl up on the sofa in my pj’s and watch 7 hours of Weeds!

definitely curl up with a good book….and send the kids out to play! I really don’t like driving in snow. Or playing in it. Or walking in it. LOL

  3. depends. i’m happy to go out for a walk or play in the snow (which we never get in australia unless you go up to the mtns or higher outer suburbs of melbourne). when i was in canada i pretty much just stayed curled up inside (everthing shuts down with the slightest bit of snow in vancouver and victoria)

I HATE snow and ice and winter weather.
    I hate being cold.
I would stay in and whine and complain and be bored, then I would venture out when it was marginally safe to drive.

  5. Bev says:

There is no snow here, so that’s not an option. However, I’m more likely to curl up with a good TV program on a cold day.

Oh, what I would give for it to snow!
You can always find me snuggled under the blankets in the cold weather, with some chai tea and a good book

I’ve done both. I Love cuddling and watching the snow fall; having nowhere to go and all day to enjoy and I’ve driven an Ambulance with wild Abandon in New York City during blizzards. It’s two totally different experiences, both with their own feeling and Motivation. Both More Fun then Humans should be allowed to have!

Curled up under a blanket with a book. And when I finished the book, maybe I’ll watch a little Stargate SG-1 or Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Boston Legal. Going out in the cold is not an option. Cold and snow are evil.

Funny you should ask! Vancouver just had its first snowy weekend (all gone in Monday’s rain, mind you) last week. I called a local dealership and took an all-wheel-drive out for a 24hr test drive. Sunday I picked up a friend, and we climbed to the top of QE park to play with my new (and he with my used) digital SLR. Wheee!

Next time, I will curl up with a book.
