I have my own domain, which is hosted by Yahoo (and was hosted by Geocities when I started, back in 2000). I use Yahoo because at the time I started my journal, the current blogging sites didn’t exist (and the term “blog” had not yet been invented either!). I continue to use Yahoo because it is easier to save my entries than it is using blogging software.
I have my own domain and I use WordPress. I absolutely love it! I had Blogger for the first 1-1/2 years, but once I moved to WordPress I never looked back. The reason I love it so much is that I can schedule a post in advance for any time I want. I also love the comment features — I barely tolerate having to type my info and the word verfication to comment on Blogger (EVERY SINGLE TIME). Once I’m signed into WordPress, I can comment automatically on any WordPress blog without having to retype all that info. Behind the scenes, WordPress is must easier to use than Blogger. Just my opinion though.
I use WordPress now, although I began with Blogger. Blogger has a lot of good features, but there seemed to be a few issues that frustrated me to no end. I like WordPress for many reasons, two of which echo Indigo: I like the flexibility in scheduling posts and the comment features (smilies really are smilies!). WP seems to get along much better with Firefox, too.
I started with Geocities long before Blogger existed and that site is about to celebrate its 9th journalversary, but a couple of years ago, I started a mirror site on Blogger because it was easier to subscribe and for things like TMA, I couldn’t participate in comment luv or other such things, so now I post an entry in both places, on my own domain and on Blogger. I’ve never tried WordPress.
I use Blogger, though I agree WordPress works better. My friend made this really neat design for me as a Christmas present and I don’t know how to move it to WordPress. I use Haloscan for my comments, that’s what all the cool kids used when I started blogging 4 years ago, so I signed up. I like Haloscan’s interface more than Blogger’s for comments, so I’m sticking with it.

I use blogger. It’s what I started with and I like it. Though the more I see of WordPress the more I seem to like it.
